StrideRide was created to make cardio exercise fullbody, non-impact, & enjoyable. Bio-Trans™ & ISO-Core™ are two innovative exercise technologies that make StrideRiding a highly effective & ergonomic cardio workout.
Bio-Trans™ allows “ON THE FLY” stride length changes from 0 to 24 inches or anything in between. Riders can tailor their lower body workouts from deep lunges to small steps. By varying stride lenght riders can shift workout focus by changing the load & depth of streach in the leg muscle groups.
ISO-Core™ enables riders to engage upper body & core muscle groups while riding to propel the StrideRide forward. By leaning the StrideRide in a side-to-side motion lateral motion is converted into forward stride motion. Up to 15% of a stride's energy can be derived from the upper body alone.
Because there are no seats to counteract striding, the core & upper body are forcibly engaged for a fitful & fun ride. Again, by pushing the StrideRide sideways into the return step core & upper body muscles may be further taxed. Highly intense cardio levels can be achieved this way since the rider is engaging so many muscle groups at once.
Lastly, the Bio-Trans™ technology allows for wide & flat glide stance. After an intense hill climb or an extreme set of interval bursts the StrideRide's glide stance enables a stable & comfortable rest position for recovery.
